State Road 66 Horror Near Reo, Evansville Driver Busted After Crash Kills Two

A 29-year-old Evansville man was taken into custody Wednesday in connection with a two-vehicle crash on State Road 66 in Spencer County that killed two people and sent a third to the hospital, authorities said. The collision happened shortly before 6 p.m. on March 24, and emergency crews shut down the highway for hours while they worked the scene. Investigators say a pickup crossed the center line and slammed into an oncoming car.
