The Greensboro Fire Department officially expanded its ranks recently, celebrating the graduation of 21 members of the 82nd Fire Academy Recruit Class.
The ceremony, held at Lawndale Baptist Church, marked the culmination of months of rigorous physical and mental training. During the commencement, Fire Chief Jim Robinson charged the new firefighters with the solemn responsibility of their roles, emphasizing the selfless duty required to protect and save lives within the community.
