Larry Parker, MD, performed the first procedure in Alabama using the Barricaid narrow anchor implant, according to a March 26 LinkedIn post from Intrinsic Therapeutics.
The case was completed at Huntsville (Ala.) Hospital. The new narrow anchor is 25% smaller than the standard version, making implantation easier by reducing bony removal and nerve root retraction.
