MEMPHIS, Tenn — Tennessee Senate lawmakers passed a bill Thursday, March 26, to prohibit school districts from suing the state over accountability measures.
SB0712 aims to prevent a local education agency or public charter school from filing a civil action against the state or an agency or person working for the state “to challenge a school or district accountability measure established pursuant to the Tennessee Education Finance Act.”
