Skeletal remains found in Gwinnett County identified as man missing since 2020

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — More than a year after construction workers found skeletal remains in Gwinnett County, the man’s identity has been confirmed, according to the county medical examiners’ office.

The body belonged to Timothy Mitchell Williams, who had been missing since 2020. Forensic genetic testing led investigators to the man’s identity.
