Alabama state Rep. Ernie Yarbrough’s 6-year-old son accidentally shot and injured his 13-year-old brother, according to multiple reports.
The Republican lawmaker’s child obtained his father’s .556-caliber AR-style rifle from a bedroom in the family’s Lawrence County, Ala., home on Saturday, March 21. The child then shot the teen in the shoulder, AL.com reported, citing authorities.
