ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A new traffic pattern is coming to an Interstate 10 exit in Escambia County.

According to a news release from the Florida Highway Patrol, I-10 westbound lanes will move to the new structure that is over Nine Mile Road, beginning on Tuesday, March 31.
This new pattern will be used through early 2027. The westbound I-10 ramps will also be reconfigured temporarily through mid-2026.
The adjusted traffic pattern is due to a $55 million interchange improvement project, scheduled for completion in mid-2028. The project aims to replace the bridge over Nine Mile Road in order to increase the clearance for vehicles…
