ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Scattered showers will return to the region to end the work week as a cold front drops in from the north tomorrow. Rain will begin in the morning for the Highlands before sliding south during the day bringing the bulk of the rain during the afternoon and evening hours.
Rain totals will be on the lighter side, up to 0.25-.50″ for most. There could be a few locally heavier downpours and a few storms towards the late afternoon, mainly towards Southside. No severe weather is expected, however.
