SpaceX Launches Satellites from Vandenberg, Marking Base’s 20th Liftoff of 2026

Guardians and Airmen at Vandenberg Space Force Base supported the launch of a SpaceX Falcon 9 carrying the Starlink 17-17 mission at 4:03 p.m. PT on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from Space Launch Complex 4 East.

The flight marked Vandenberg’s 20th launch of the year.

The mission deployed 25 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit. The Falcon 9 first stage completed its 23rd flight, having previously launched Crew-7, CRS-29, PACE, Transporter-10, EarthCARE, NROL-186, Transporter-13, TRACERS, NROL-48, COSMO-SkyMed Second Generation FM3, and 13 prior Starlink missions.

Following stage separation, the booster landed on the droneship Of Course I Still Love You, stationed in the Pacific Ocean…
