HAMMOND — The two-time reigning Southland Conference Tournament champion Southeastern Louisiana University softball team will look to extend the longest winning streak in program history and remain unbeaten in league play when it travels to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi for a three-game conference series this week.
SLU (27-9, 9-0 SLC) carries a 13-game winning streak into the three-game set at the Islanders (10-22, 4-5 SLC). The series opens with a 4 p.m. contest Friday and continues with a noon doubleheader Saturday. All three games will be televised on ESPN+.
