Arkansas State Parks has announced the opening of a new multi-use trail at Pinnacle Mountain State Park designed to expand access and connectivity for visitors.
The Owl Pass Trail stretches approximately one mile and is built to accommodate a wide range of users, including walkers, runners, cyclists and those using wheelchairs, track chairs or mobility scooters. The trail follows the Little Maumelle River and offers a smooth, accessible route through the park.
The trail also serves as a connector within the park’s system, linking the West Summit Day-Use Area to the Arkansas Arboretum. Access points include the Monument Trails via the Lichen Link, the paved sidewalk from the visitor center, the West Summit parking area and the Arboretum trail parking lot…
