LUBBOCK, Texas— Three Lubbock women whose lives were forever changed by violent crime are turning their grief into action with a new organization aimed at supporting other families.Lubbock V.O.I.C.E.S., which stands for Validating Our Individual Challenges & Experiences, was founded by Christina Pauda, Anna Ysasaga Cruz and Isabel Ortiz. Each woman who has lost a loved one to violence and crime have come together to provide advocacy, outreach and emotional support for families navigating similar tragedies.
Pauda is the mother of Katrina Cyan Castillo. Ysasaga Cruz spent three years searching for her missing son, Mark Ysasaga, before his body was found. Ortiz is the grandmother of Mason Rodriguez…
