Kansas woman found competent to stand trial in infant’s death

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Salina woman has been found competent to stand trial in the death of a 5-month-old baby.

At a Thursday hearing, a judge adopted the findings of a competency evaluation and allowed the case against Adyson Burr to go forward, according to court officials.

She was arrested after the Jan. 12 death of the baby, who was found that morning unresponsive in a crib. The baby was pronounced dead, and Burr was later booked into jail…
