1920s-themed fundraiser by Mountain Post Spouses’ Club set for April 11

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Mountain Post Spouses’ Club is a nonprofit and social organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for military families and the surrounding community by raising funds for scholarships and community grants. Since 2020, they have raised $425,000. Their biggest fundraiser of the year is happening Saturday, April 11, at the Antlers Hotel. Doors open at 5:30 pm. The theme is a throwback, and everyone is asked to dress in 1920s attire.

Representatives Jessi Mitchell and Jennifer Vaughn joined Loving Living Local hosts Justin Antweil and Krista Witiak to promote the upcoming event.

“V.I.C.E. Night Stands for Very Important Charity Event,” said Mitchell. “It’s a fun-filled evening that features dinner, casino-style gaming, music & dancing, and both a silent and live auction. This year’s theme is Ivy Club Speakeasy – a nod to 1920s prohibition.”

Proceeds from the evening raise funds for the nonprofit’s Educational Scholarship Program and the SRFG/Community Grants Program…
