A new Mexican restaurant with longtime roots in Boise, the Bay Area of California, and Mexico itself is planned for Boise’s Barber Valley.
Jair Rocha, his dad Victor Rocha, and partner Eduardo Fernandez are working on a new restaurant concept they are calling Mateo’s — but you might be familiar with another of the family’s restaurants: Casa Mexico.
Jair Rocha said the menu will be largely the same as the other four Casa Mexico locations in Boise, Eagle, and Middleton, but will feature unique decor and some dishes not found at the other restaurants…
