PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Police are searching for two suspects after a car crashed through the front of a north Phoenix gun store overnight, where one rifle was stolen.
Shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Friday, Phoenix police responded to a burglary alarm at Cave Creek Guns at a strip mall near Cave Creek and Utopia roads. Officers arrived to find an abandoned sedan inside the showroom.
Store owner George Urmston tells Arizona’s Family that surveillance cameras captured the incident on video. He said there were two suspects, one of whom got out of the car before the driver crashed into the building.
Urmston said the driver tried to back out, but the car was lodged in a pile of rubble. The second suspect then came into the store and stole one gun, a semi-automatic .308 rifle, before both ran away…
