Hawaii Kai Mile open to all ages, skill levels

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The 4th running of the Hawaii Kai Mile is taking place this Sunday, March 29, at 7 a.m., featuring an event open to runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels.

“Our goal for this event is to provide a fun and supportive environment that promotes being active and healthy for the whole family. One mile is a distance that most people of all ages can conquer while having fun out there,” Michael Garrison, race organizer, said.

The course starts at the intersection of Lunalilo Home Road and Hawaii Kai Drive, and finishes at Kaiser High School. A section of Lunalilo Home Road will be blocked off for safety. Parking will be at Kaiser High School, with runners encouraged to get to the start line by at least 6:45 am…
