AKRON, Ohio (WKBN) – The guilty plea of a Canfield man accused in a police chase and crash has been amended.
A correction was docketed in Summit County Common Pleas Court this week in the case of Javon Gage. It corrects his guilty plea, which was heard in December 2025. The new entry shows that prosecutors have dismissed a charge of receiving stolen property, and that Gage has pleaded guilty to failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer and OVI.
He will be sentenced following a presentence investigation…
