After a dramatic end to the beloved Alabama Butterbean Festival, the Pinson City Council unanimously voted to put on their very own, new festival: Pinson Butterbean Days.
At a special-called Thursday evening council meeting, the city of Pinson welcomed a new contractual partnership with the North Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, dropping their former ‘broken’ relationship with the Clay Pinson Chamber. The new partnership sets the groundwork for replacing the popular statewide bean-themed festival, which the Clay Pinson Chamber ended after a dispute over money and transparency.
