NORFOLK, Va. — Firefighters battled a fire and explosion in a Norfolk neighborhood on Friday afternoon.
According to Norfolk Fire-Rescue, crews were called to the 900 block of Wakefield Avenue shortly after 1:30, where they found two backyard sheds heavily engulfed in flames. Firefighters deployed multiple attack lines and brought the blaze under control just before 2 p.m.
