CEDAR SPRINGS, Mich. (WKRC) — A Michigan man was left “screaming” in a gas station recently after he used part of a small lottery prize to buy one more ticket, leading to him winning a $1-million prize as well.
According to a press release from the Michigan Lottery, the 31-year-old man from the Grand Rapids area, who asked to remain anonymous, stopped in a Wesco gas station one night to cash in a $20 winning lottery ticket. He said he put $10 of his winnings in his pocket and then used the other $10 to buy an Electric 100s instant game ticket.
“I scratched the ticket in the store, and when I saw that I had won $1 million, I started screaming! It’s a good thing no one else was in the store, because they would have thought I was going insane!” he said in the release…
