Fuel prices climb in Tennessee Valley causing an Arab trucking company to raise rates

ARAB, Ala. (WAFF) – Fuel prices are continuing to climb, and drivers across the Tennessee Valley are feeling it every time they fill up.

Businesses that rely on the road are starting to feel the pain, too. Leaders of Arab Cartage and Express company said the rising price of diesel is causing them to raise their prices to cover the extra costs.

The jump in diesel from around three dollars to more than five dollars a gallon is pushing costs higher for trucking companies. For them, fuel is not optional…
