The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is conducting an internal investigation into whether employees improperly shared graphic crime scene photos connected to a deadly explosion that killed three deputies last July.
A department spokesperson confirmed to Eyewitness News that investigators are examining claims that personnel circulated the images.
