Some victims airlifted to Memphis after bus crash

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Some victims of Friday’s fatal school bus crash in Carroll County, Tennessee were flown by helicopter to trauma centers in Memphis, as well as Nashville, officials said.

Authorities raced to a terrifying scene on Highway 70 near Huntingdon Friday around noon after a Kenwood Middle School bus from carrying 25 students and five adults from Montgomery County crashed on the way to the Toyota Grand Prix Greenpower USA race in Jackson.

Two students were killed and several others injured.
