Despite privacy concerns, Pensacola Police chief reassures public about ‘Flock’ cameras

PENSACOLA, Fla. — The Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) system “Flock” cameras are used by 5,000 local agencies across the country to help with real-time crime detection.

However, the cameras have sparked conversation on its usage because of surveillance and privacy concerns in the city of Pensacola.
