Three flown to hospital for burn injuries following schoolhouse fire

A fire at the Hidden View Amish School on Byler Road in Sparta Township sent two students and one teacher, in her teens, to the hospital Friday morning.

First responders were dispatched just before 9:30 a.m., and Spartanburg’s Volunteer Fire Chief Chris Hughes said most of the building was already burned down by the time they arrived.
