AUSTIN, Texas — A suspect wanted in connection with a deadly 2024 shooting at an East Austin park has been arrested in Louisiana, authorities said.
The U.S. Marshals Service said Catrailon Trevarius Jarrell, 21, of Baton Rouge, was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with murder in the April 17, 2024, shooting at Bartholomew Park in east Austin.
According to an arrest affidavit, Austin emergency crews responded to the park, located at 1800 E. 51st St., and found a man inside a vehicle near a basketball court with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital, where he later died…
