Investigators searching for whoever left a badly injured dog in a Baytown wooded area

BAYTOWN, Texas — Animal cruelty investigators are asking for the public’s help after a dog was found with severe cuts and stab wounds in a wooded area in Baytown.

The injured dog was discovered in a neighborhood off King’s Drive and taken to the Houston SPCA for emergency treatment. Veterinarians said the animal suffered extensive injuries, including deep lacerations and a broken jaw.
