Baked goods, snacks manufacturer lays off dozens at its Boise plant

Baked goods and snacks manufacturer Maker’s Pride notified the state of mass layoffs at its Boise factory next to the Boise Factory Outlet near Interstate 84.

The company sent a letter to the Idaho Department of Labor saying it planned to lay off about 51 employees at its site at 7031 S. Eisenman Road, which remains open. According to the letter, obtained by the Idaho Statesman, 38 machine operators and 10 general labor workers at the Boise plant were laid off Feb. 26.
