15 years later, Commerce City teen’s killing remains unsolved as detectives continue search for answers

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — Fifteen years after an 18-year-old was shot and killed while walking to a gas station, investigators say the case is still very much alive.

Dijoun Quinn was killed on March 27, 2011, near 64th Avenue and Holly Street. At the time, the case made headlines across the Denver metro area. Today, it remains unsolved — but not forgotten.
