(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A woman was arrested on Thursday, March 26 after she allegedly darted in and out of traffic on I-25 south of Motor City and threw a rock at a responding police officer’s patrol car.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), dispatchers began receiving calls shortly before 7 a.m. on Thursday about a woman trying to cross the interstate near the South Nevada Avenue/Tejon Street exit. A Real-Time Crime Center drone located the woman in the middle of I-25 just north of the MLK interchange.
As the drone helped guide officers to the location, CSPD said the woman darted in and out of traffic on I-25 and was nearly hit by several cars. In addition, the woman was allegedly picking up road debris and throwing it at passing vehicles, causing damage…
