LAS VEGAS (FOX5) —A Henderson Vietnam veteran received a new air conditioner Friday from a military-owned and operated heating and cooling company.
Mike Payne, 77, worked in the engine room of a battleship during the Vietnam War. His 35-year-old air conditioner was replaced at no charge by Semper Fi Heating, Cooling and Plumbing.
“It makes me happy,” Payne said.
