Is ICE breaking Washington law? Masked agents caught on camera days after ban

WHITE CENTER, Wash. — Less than ten days after Washington’s new law banning face coverings for law enforcement took effect, videos captured masked immigration agents making arrests in South King County.

KING 5 obtained footage from two arrests in White Center and Burien that appear to show agents wearing masks — now prohibited under state law. The arrest in Burien happened Wednesday and the one in White Center happened Thursday morning.

Arrest captured in White Center

Video taken just after 8 a.m. Thursday shows masked agents arresting the driver of a red pickup truck at the intersection of 17th Avenue Southwest and Southwest 98th Street in White Center.
