HELLERTOWN, Pa. – A business offering “low and slow wood-smoked BBQ,” including ribs, brisket, chicken and pulled pork, has found a new homebase in the Lehigh Valley.
You Got Pork’D, specializing in premium barbecue and homemade sides, is planning to depart Leaf Cigar Bar, at 90 Mort Drive in Forks Township, at the end of March and move operations in April to Dewey Fire Company’s banquet hall and social club, at 502 Durham St. in Hellertown, owner Brian Jones announced Friday on the business’ Facebook page.
Earlier this year, Leaf decided not to renew You Got Pork’D’s lease, leading Jones to seek a new location for his barbecue business.
In Friday’s announcement, Jones thanked Leaf for a “great partnership the last five years.”…
