ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Dan Wuchter, owner of the Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market, has died, according to the market’s Facebook page.
Daniel G. Wuchter, Sr.,, of New Tripoli, passed away on Thursday, March 26, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was 86.
The Facebook post says Wuchter was 15-years-old at the time the market opened in 1955, and was used to hard work growing up on a chicken farm. Dan “started selling eggs door-to-door when he was just six or seven years old” according to the post…
