The Friends of the Library are hosting their popular Bag of Books Sale at the Phenix City-Russell County Library from May 7–9, 2026. For just $5, you can buy a bag and fill it with as many books as you can fit.
- Thursday, May 7 (10 a.m.–4 p.m. ET): Special Needs Patrons & Caregivers only
- Friday, May 8 (10 a.m.–4 p.m. ET): Open to everyone
- Saturday, May 9 (10 a.m.–2 p.m. ET): Open to everyone
It’s a great chance to stock up on affordable reading material while supporting the library’s programs.
