Cumberland County Community Development invites public to review 2026-27 draft of Annual Action Plan

Cumberland County Community Development has released a draft of the 2026–2027 Annual Action Plan (AAP) for public review. Residents are encouraged to provide feedback during the review period, which is open through April 20, 2026.

The Annual Action Plan outlines projects and funding priorities for the program year July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. Once finalized, the plan will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The draft AAP is available:

  • Online at cumberlandcountync.gov/community-development
  • In person at the Community Development office, 707 Executive Place, Fayetteville
  • By email upon request

Printed copies will also be available at the following town hall meetings:

  • April 2 at 7 p.m.: Stedman Town Hall, 5110 Front St., Stedman
  • April 13 at 6 p.m.: Spring Lake Town Hall, 300 Ruth St., Spring Lake
  • April 14 at 7 p.m.: Eastover Town Hall, 4008 School St., Eastover
  • April 14 at 7 p.m.: Wade Town Hall, 7128 Main St., Wade
  • April 20 at 7 p.m.: Falcon Town Hall, 7156 South West St., Falcon
  • April 20 at 7 p.m.: Hope Mills Town Hall, 5770 Rockfish Rd., Hope Mills
  • April 21 at 7:30 p.m.: Linden Town Hall, 9456 Academy St., Linden
  • TBA: Godwin Town Hall, 7827 Royal St., Godwin
