KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A Clinton man has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to hiding a camera that captured over 1,500 videos inside a women’s restroom at a park in Farragut.
Friday morning, Knox County District Attorney General Charme Allen’s office announced that Tony Lynn Strand, 34, pleaded guilty to three counts of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, burglary, and observation without consent.

He was sentenced to serve 10 years in prison without the possibility of parole. Following his prison sentence, Strand will also be placed on the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry.
During the plea hearing, prosecutors explained that detectives with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Cove at Concord Park on April 8, 2025, after a concerned citizen reported that there was a camera in the ceiling of the women’s bathroom. According to the DA’s office, a detective located a hatch to enter the ceiling on the men’s side of the restroom with a broken lock.
