Starting March 28, 2026, Xpress and its regional partners — MARTA, CobbLinc, and Ride Gwinnett — will switch to the new Better Breeze fare payment system. The upgrade brings tap-to-pay options, a redesigned mobile app, and account-based Breeze cards that store your balance securely in the cloud.
Riders can pay with a debit or credit card, mobile wallet, or the new Breeze card. Cash is still accepted but must be exact change. Current Breeze cards and the Breeze Mobile 2.0 app will stop working after May 2, 2026.
