Law enforcement officers flooded Memphis streets on Thursday, resulting in 50 arrests and the recovery of three illegal firearms in a single-day push by the Memphis Safe Task Force (MSTF). The sweep, which included the apprehension of one juvenile, targeted individuals with active warrants for violent offenses across the city.
Two high-profile arrests anchored the day’s operations. In the 2600 block of Durby Circle, officers took 21-year-old Katruan Phillips into custody.
