A great hammerhead shark that was found dead Thursday on Naples Beach, Fla., has been collected by scientists so a necropsy can be performed.
The accompanying footage, captured by Christian Hernandez, shows the estimated 300-pound shark being placed via heavy machinery onto the bed of a transport truck.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will conduct the necropsy in the hope of determining the cause of death.
