CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) — Coast RTA is moving full speed ahead with proposed route changes that could have a big impact on riders in Horry County this summer.
CEO Brian Piascik told the county transportation committee there will be new bus routes to the airport from Conway. Service will also be added to the top end of Carolina Forest, coupled with “microtransit” to reach into neighborhoods along Carolina Forest Boulevard.
A new route will also go into the South Strand Hospital, leaving only McLeod Seacoast without bus service. Piascik told the committee that the changes will not affect this year’s budget, but is expected to increase next year’s by $1 million…
