A Fruitland Park woman was arrested after allegedly scratching her boyfriend’s face during an argument over infidelity.
Shayla Maria-Janett Rosario, 39, was sitting in a vehicle with her boyfriend of 18 years, who is also the father of their three children, outside Longhorn Steakhouse in the Village Crossroads of Lady Lake shopping plaza at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
They began to argue over allegations of infidelity, and Rosario struck her boyfriend in the face while trying to take his cellphone. This cut his lip and knocked his glasses off his face, the report said.
Her boyfriend later described how she got very angry and yelled at him. She then scratched his face and ripped off his glasses. When he got out, she chased him as he called 911. He fears she will come back to their home and cause further violence, the report said…
