Oakland police have arrested three people in connection with an illegal dirt bike and ATV group linked to an attempted robbery and carjacking earlier this month, authorities said.
Police said officers responded March 2 to reports of riders illegally operating dirt bikes and ATVs on city streets when one rider allegedly attempted to rob and carjack a victim in the 5400 block of Telegraph Avenue.
