Construction has begun at the Lafayette BART Station. Crews are installing fencing and signs to guide riders while work is in progress. The bike lockers have been moved to the parking lot and are ready for use, with additional racks available inside and on the north side of the station.
Next week’s work will include demolition of existing structures and tree removal near the new Bike Station area. Construction hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and emergency access will remain open…
