Wilson Park playground upgrades added for children with autism

BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) β€” Children with autism in Bakersfield have a new place to play this summer after the city dedicated upgrades to the playground at Wilson Park.

City leaders were on hand at the park today for the dedication. In addition to repairs made to benches, light poles, and sidewalks, the park now has new playground equipment and a newly installed four-foot fence surrounding the playground for families of kids who have autism.
