Caltrans will close parts of 19th Avenue (State Route 1) in San Francisco for three weekends this spring to repave lanes and upgrade traffic systems. The work is part of the 19th Avenue Rehabilitation Project.
Closure schedule:
- April 24–26: Northbound 19th Ave from Sloat Blvd to Lincoln Ave
- May 8–10: Southbound 19th Ave from Lincoln Ave to Sloat Blvd
- May 22–25: Both directions from Sloat Blvd to Holloway Ave
Each closure lasts about 70–75 hours, with one lane open for public transit, emergency vehicles, and local access. Parking will be restricted in work zones but allowed on side streets…
