JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra (MSO) teamed up with Academy Award-winning actor Morgan Freeman and the Delta Blues Legends for a one-night Symphonic Blues Experience. The event turned Thalia Mara Hall in Jackson into the heart of America’s musical story.
During Friday’s event, Jackson Mayor John Horhn declared March 27 as “Morgan Freeman Day” and presented the actor with the keys to the city.
