Boulder Beer Co. plans to resume brewing several of its flagship beers in Boulder, marking a return to local production for one of the city’s most recognizable craft brewing brands.
The company said beers including Shake Chocolate Porter and Buffalo Gold will again be brewed in Boulder, reestablishing a local connection that had shifted in recent years as production moved elsewhere.
Boulder Beer was founded in 1979 and is widely recognized as one of Colorado’s earliest craft breweries. Its legacy brands have remained popular even as ownership and production strategies changed over time.
