A weekend house fire in Aurora’s 2200 block of N. Lansing Street sent two people to the hospital with minor injuries and forced two residents out of their home, officials said. Crews from Aurora’s fire and police departments quickly brought the blaze under control, and the American Red Cross was called in to help the people who were displaced.

Aurora Fire Rescue and Aurora police conducted both primary and secondary searches of the home and reported those sweeps were “complete and negative,” meaning no one else was found inside.
